For over 250 years, Coastal Virginia has rejected the authoritarianism of kings.

Once again, our community gathers with strong voices to push back on authoritarianism and say NO KINGS.

Resistance is 365. We encourage you to join COVA Coalition, local Indivisibles, and our ally groups on the days BETWEEN rallies and protests to engage in sustained national resistance to tyranny.

Silence is not an option.

We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration's unjust and cruel acts of violence, and we will protect democracy.

PLEASE NOTE: Similar to past events, we will meet for a rally and then peacefully walk to conduct a visibility event at a nearby intersection.

There are THREE No Kings events in Coastal Virginia: Chesapeake 10 AM, Norfolk 11 AM, and Virginia Beach 1 PM.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
