Hosted by South Hampton Roads Indivisible

Get informed, stay safe, and learn what to do if you or someone you know is approached by immigration officials.

What’s the Purpose of the Training?

• To inform residents they have rights under the U.S. Constitution, regardless of their immigration status.

• Offer community members actions they can take to defend themselves and implement KYR knowledge.

• Learn how to document ICE violations and help those being detained.

Our training is free and open to the public. You may wish to bring materials to take notes during the session. We do not allow phones or other recording devices during the event. We will have free Know Your Rights flyers, red cards, and whistles to give out during the event, and we encourage you to take home extras to share with your community.
